Teaching Assistants Job title Teaching Assistants Salary Bucks Pay Range 1B depending on experience & qualifications. Actual estimated gross salary based on 32.5 hours per week £18,501 (approx.) pro rata per annum Based on 39 weeks per year (equal to 38 weeks term time plus INSET days as set by the Trust) Hours Full time: 32 hours 30 minutes per week (Monday to Friday 8:30am - 3:30pm) Contract type Permanent Provisional start date 1st September 2026- subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks Closing date: 22nd May 2026 Interviews: Interviews will be conducted upon receipt of suitable application, with any outstanding interviews scheduled for the week commencing 8th June 2026 Responsible for Teaching and learning of pupils Teaching Assistant - Job Role As a Teaching Assistant, you will work alongside teachers to support the educational, social and developmental needs of children. You will help enable children to achieve and be successful. You will take ownership of, and support the shared responsibility for, the well-being, education and behaviour of children. As a Teaching Assistant you treat all pupils with dignity, building relationships rooted in mutual respect, and at all times observing proper boundaries appropriate to the professional position. Successful candidates will be positively committed to shaping and changing the lives of children.
