The successful candidate will work within a year group team, supporting in class and providing PPA cover for the teaching team. You will work within one year group, although on odd occasions may be asked to support in another year group. When not providing cover for PPA and leadership time, you will work within class, providing support to pupils as required. Ideally, we would like the successful candidate to have the HLTA or Cover Supervisor qualification, but most importantly, experience of covering whole classes is essential. The role is for 6 hours per day (plus 2 hours per week for meetings/prep), 5 days a week. Working Hours The successful candidate will work Monday to Friday 8:25 - 15:25 (inclusive of a 1 hour unpaid lunch break) plus 2 additional hours over the week for marking/prep/meetings. The exact working pattern for the 2 additional hours will be agreed with the successful candidate at interview. Visits to the school are warmly welcomed.
