Strategic Planning: Collaborate with Year Group partners and Subject Leaders to implement a creative, sequenced curriculum that builds on EYFS foundations. Inclusion & Safeguarding: Maintain a culture where the child always comes first, following all statutory requirements (KCSIE) and tailoring support for SEND and EAL pupils. Formative Assessment: Proficiently use data to track pupil performance, identifying gaps early and implementing effective interventions to ensure no child is left behind. Parental Partnership: Build strong, transparent relationships with parents and carers to support the home-school learning link. About You You should be a reflective practitioner with a deep commitment to social equity and the belief that every child, regardless of their starting point, can achieve excellence. Requirements Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a Degree/PGCE are essential. Experience: Proven success in teaching within a Primary setting (KS1 experience preferred, though ECTs with strong placements are encouraged to apply). Pedagogical Style: A creative thinker with a "growth mindset" who can manage a classroom with warmth, clear routines, and high expectations. Technical Skills: Strong understanding of the KS1 National Curriculum and experience in using assessment data to drive classroom impact. Communication: Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a Key Stage team and communicate effectively with the wider school community.
