We are looking to appoint an experienced and
proactive teaching assistant to work within our Year 2 class primarily
with pupils who need additional support to access the curriculum and manage their
social and emotional needs.
The
successful candidate will:
be patient,
empathetic and resilient have the ability to
build positive relationship and a safe, supportive learning environment work closely with
the class teacher and existing adults within the class to support learning promote positive
behaviour support pupils to
develop emotional regulation and independence have strong
communication skills be flexibility have the ability to
adapt learning activities to meet individual needs have a commitment to
supporting the wellbeing and progress of every child.
It
would be advantageous if applicants had the following:
Previous experience
of being a Teaching Assistant
Previous
experience of working with pupils with additional needs.
