Teacher of Computing and IT

We are seeking to appoint an inspirational teacher of L3

Computing and, L2/3 Information Technology and T level Digital Support and

Services to join an excellent and forward-thinking Business, Law and Digital

team. We have an exciting and vibrant and inclusive curriculum offering

students pathways in IT and Digital from L2 to L3 across BTEC, AAQs and T level

qualifications. This academic year saw the successful launch of a new suite of

IT classrooms with industry standard equipment including Drones and AI

technologies.

We are looking for someone who:

is an inspirational teacher with

a strong occupational/academic background has a background in programming

and teaching various languages has the ambition to develop their

career through ContinuingProfessional Development such as working with

industry experts can work collaboratively with

colleagues to ensure the success of the department and the sixth form on our

journey to ‘Outstanding’ can use their expertise and

industry experience to deliver a high-quality curriculum can develop the knowledge, skills

and behaviours of our learners in readiness for their next steps into higher

education, training and employment has a proven track record of

achieving good or outstanding results, though we also welcome applications from

ECTs

Longley Park Sixth Form is a highly
