About the role

About the Role

This

is a non-class-based role, allowing you the time and space to focus on

high-quality SEND leadership

Some

teaching or cover responsibility will be required to support pupils and

colleagues

You

will take strategic and operational responsibility for SEND across the

school

You

will oversee the daily running, development and impact of our Additional

Resource Classrooms, ensuring provision is ambitious, well-led and meets

pupils’ needs

You

will work closely with the Headteacher, senior leaders, staff, parents and

external professionals to secure the best outcomes for children with SEND

We welcome applications from:

Qualified

SENCOs, or

Teachers

with the potential and desire to become a SENCO – full training and

support towards the NASENCO qualification will be provided

We are looking for someone who:

strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with

staff, parents and external agencies

Can

lead, support and inspire staff in delivering excellent SEND provision
