Raising Standards.   We are looking for a proactive, dedicated and enthusiastic Student Liaison Officer to join our pastoral team at The King’s School. This is a highly rewarding role where you will play a key part in supporting students’ wellbeing, behaviour, attendance and personal development, helping them to thrive both academically and emotionally.  Working with an assigned year group to provide leadership and operational management, you will:   Monitor and raise attendance, behaviour and pastoral standards  Enforce excellent behaviour to contribute towards students’ academic attainment  Support the implementation and delivery of the school’s pastoral systems and interventions  Work closely with staff, parents/carers and external agencies to remove barriers to learning  Lead and deliver support programmes, interventions and enrichment activities  Maintain accurate records and use data to monitor progress and inform next steps  Act as a visible role model, promoting high expectations and positive student conduct  Contribute to the strategic development of whole-school pastoral provision, including rewards, behaviour and inclusion strategies  Who this role is suited for This role would be well suited to someone who:  Enjoys working closely with young people and families and building positive, trusting relationships  Has experience in a pastoral, behaviour, inclusion, youth work or student support role  Is motivated by making a meaningful difference to students’ life chances  Is confident managing challenging situations with professionalism, empathy and consistency  Thrives in a role that combines direct student support with leadership responsibility  Is considering a longer-term career in pastoral leadership, safeguarding, inclusion or education support  Values collaboration and wants to play an active role in shaping a strong, inclusive school culture  We’re looking for someone who:   Communicates confidently and effectively with students, staff and parents/carers  Has a calm, professional and approachable manner  Is organised, resilient and able to use initiative and sound judgement  Can work independently while contributing positively to a wider pastoral team  Shares a commitment to high expectations, inclusion and student wellbeing  This is a rewarding pastoral role where you will help students feel supported, safe and ready to succeed,
