About the Role
Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH) transforms the lives of seriously ill children every day. Our Charity raises vital funds for pioneering research, advanced equipment, family support services, and new facilities like the Children's Cancer Centre opening in 2026.
We're looking for a confident, data-driven Senior Digital Marketing Manager to lead our paid digital campaigns across search, social, display, and video. You'll manage a team, own the digital marketing budget, and translate campaign performance into insight-driven recommendations that drive fundraising results. You'll work collaboratively across our Marketing and Communications directorate, balancing hands-on delivery with strategic leadership.
What You'll Do
- Lead and coach the paid digital marketing team to deliver high-performing, multi-channel campaigns (paid search, paid social, display, video)
- Manage the digital marketing budget, including monthly phasing, variance analysis, and business planning with stakeholders
- Set ambitious digital KPIs, measure performance against them, and translate results into actionable recommendations
- Champion audience segmentation and targeting to deliver a coherent digital supporter experience
- Test and pilot new fundraising products and campaigns using a structured test-and-learn approach
- Manage relationships with media agencies and external suppliers, ensuring effective delivery
- Spot trends in the digital landscape and lead best practice adoption across channels
- Deputise for the Head of Digital Marketing as required
- Oversee digital training rollout across the Charity and Trust
What We're Looking For
Essential:
- Proven experience planning and delivering multi-channel paid campaigns (social, search, display, video)
- Demonstrated experience leading and coaching teams to develop integrated, results-driven marketing plans
- Working knowledge of Google Analytics and Google Ads (including Performance Max and Display Network)
- Experience managing media agencies and external suppliers
- Strong data and insight skills — you use metrics to inform campaign development and optimisation
- Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills; able to build stakeholder relationships and inspire collaboration
Desirable:
- Experience in the charity or not-for-profit sector
- Hands-on experience with Google Grants
- Knowledge of Marketing Mix Modelling (MMM) principles
- Working knowledge of Salesforce
- Agile/Scrum experience (training provided)
