About the role

Operations Manager Connect Multi‑Academy Trust - North Durham Academy, Stanley Salary: Support Staff Grade 8 Connect Multi‑Academy Trust is looking for a proactive, experienced Operations Manager to lead on Estates, Health & Safety and Facilities functions across all our Trust sites (3 secondary schools and 5 primary schools). What you’ll do: Lead and support Site Teams across the Trust Manage the Facilities Service Desk and ensure KPIs are met Oversee PPM schedules and statutory compliance Lead capital projects from scope to delivery Act as Health & Safety Lead, including risk assessments and training Manage catering, cleaning and transport contracts Oversee site security, CCTV, access control and emergency response What you’ll bring: 3+ years’ experience in estates/facilities management Strong project management and contractor‑management skills Excellent knowledge of health & safety regulations Great communication, organisation and IT skills A solutions‑focused, resilient approach Desirable: NEBOSH/IOSH, PRINCE2, education‑sector experience. You will receive a comprehensive induction to support you to successfully pass your probation.
