Job Title: Cover Supervisor Employment Status: Permanent, Teacher term time only Working Hours: Full time Salary: Grade 4 - Β£25,989 pro rata, per annum Required: September 2026 Location: Blue Coat C of E School, Coventry About the role We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic individual to provide cover supervision in the event of absence of the teaching staff and provide in-class support for other learning activities. You will also invigilate examinations and support departments as required. We are looking for someone who: Is excited about working in a high achieving school Is determined to help and support students achieve their full potential Is keen to work with KS3, 4 and 5 students Is able to lead a team to successfully support the effective running of the school All staff are expected to know what to do if they have concerns about a child, take on the responsibility for providing a safe environment and promoting childrenβs welfare, undertake regular safeguarding and child protection training and, familiarise themselves with KCSIE part 1 and local policies and procedures as directed by the trust/academy. About us Blue Coat is a successful and oversubscribed school in the heart of the city of Coventry.
