PE Support Technician

We require, from 1st September 2026, a

motivated and enthusiastic PE Support Technician to join our PE Department.

The successful candidate will support both

staff and students in practical and theory PE lessons, assist with the delivery

of extra-curricular sport and fixtures, and help promote participation in a

wide range of physical activities across the school.

The role includes preparing, maintaining and

organising sports equipment, facilities and resources to ensure lessons and

activities run safely and effectively. The post holder will work closely with

teachers and students and should be proactive, well organised, resilient, good

humoured and enjoy working with young people aged 13–18.

A passion and interest in a broad range of

sports and physical activities is essential. Experience of coaching young

people and relevant coaching qualifications would be advantageous.

As part of our commitment to personal and

professional development, the successful candidate will participate in a weekly

training programme alongside teachers and other classroom-based support staff.
