The postholder will provide in class support for students with a range of needs, including cognitive, social, emotional and mental health needs, as well as physical needs. They will work closely with parents, teaching staff, specialists, and the study support team to ensure the student’s needs are met. The role is a temporary maternity cover, working 3 days a week for one year. Please see the attached full job description for the complete list of duties and responsibilities. The Study Support staff work tirelessly to ensure that all SEND students are supported to achieve their full potential across the curriculum. For students who are unable to access our mainstream curriculum there is a comprehensive and bespoke Nurture curriculum in place which is taught by subject specialists. Building on this further , creating a bespoke curriculum for a targeted group of students who are working significantly below their peers and have a diagnosis of Autism.
