IT Technician - Grade 5

Evidence of relevant IT training A-Level or equivalent qualification in an ICT related subject Experience configuring and using MS as well as w orking on/maintaining an ICT network Experience configuring and using Windows 11 and s upporting MS Office Knowledge of Apple Macs, Windows 11 together with general knowledge of application packages, systems information networks Knowledge of the GDPR Act and Health & Safety at work Act and associated regulations (e.g. DSE) Driving licence as the role requires supporting two school sites Positive attitude Patience & determination Be able to work with and around staff and students in a school setting Flexibility Excellent interpersonal & communication skills Able to explain ICT related situations in non-technical language Good organisational skills
