Mid Day Supervisor

Stondon Lower School is looking for an enthusiastic MDSA to support the children at lunchtime during the busy lunchtime period. Duties will include assisting in setting up/clearing away in the dining hall, supervising the children whilst eating, organising outside play and playground/field supervision. Flexibility is key in this position and you must be comfortable supervising groups using your own initiative. There will be some record keeping required, therefore, you will need a good standard of spoken and written English, preferably GCSE Grade C or above or equivalent. This position will involve lifting tables and chairs, with additional support, therefore the successful applicant will need to be physically fit. The schools are committed to stringent safeguarding procedures (including the PREVENT agenda), therefore, this position will include full adherence to safer recruitment guidelines. This will include a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check prior to commencement of employment and we will also apply for references prior to interview from your current/most recent employer.
