The Role - Cover Supervisor We are seeking to appoint a Cover Supervisor to support high-quality teaching and learning by supervising classes during the absence of the classroom teacher. You will help to maintain a positive learning environment, ensuring that pupils remain engaged and productive. Key responsibilities include: Supervising pupils in lessons, ensuring set work is completed and behaviour expectations are maintained. Registering attendance and managing classroom routines. Collecting and returning completed work to teachers, providing feedback as required. Establishing positive relationships with pupils, promoting inclusion, respect, and responsibility. Supporting the wider school by covering form time, seclusion, and duties when needed. Working with the Cover Manager to organise staff absence cover and liaising with supply agencies. Assisting with administrative support, invigilation, and whole-school activities as required.
