St Georgeβs CE Primary School is seeking a committed and caring Learning Support Assistant to join our welcoming and successful team. We are looking for a hardworking, flexible and inclusive individual who is dedicated to helping pupils thrive, particularly those with special educational needs. About the Role 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday, term time only (38 weeks) Working under the direction of the SENDCo, you will provide targeted support for pupils with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) Deliver personalised interventions and adapt support strategies to meet individual learning, social and emotional needs Liaise closely with the SENDCo, class teachers and wider staff team to promote pupil progress, independence and inclusion Build positive relationships with pupils and act as a key adult, helping them access learning and achieve their individual targets What Weβre Looking For A positive and proactive team player who works effectively under the guidance of the SENDCo A strong commitment to inclusion, safeguarding and pupil wellbeing Experience of supporting children within a school setting is essential The ability to build trusting relationships and provide personalised support to pupils with additional needs Flexibility, patience and excellent communication skills What We Offer A supportive and experienced staff team Ongoing training and professional development opportunities A friendly and inclusive school community where every member of staff is valued The opportunity to make a meaningful difference to the lives of children with SEND every day We warmly encourage visits to the school.
