Contract type: Permanent FTE/Hours: 12.5 hours per week (11.00am until 14.20pm per day) Working weeks: Term Time Only  Salary: TPLTSS1 £7,085 (actual salary) Location: Worle Community School Closing date: 16th July 2026 Interview dates: 20th July 2026  Proposed start date: 1st September 2026 Worle Community School is seeking a Lunchtime Supervisor to join our school staff team. This vital role focuses on creating a safe, healthy, and welcoming environment for students during their daily break times - lunch and break. As part of this role, you will: Daily responsibilities include supervising students in the restaurant area and outside spaces; you will actively encourage independence by helping children develop good eating manners, proper cutlery usage, and positive habits.  Supervisors also monitor student movement to keep the premises secure, manage dining hall setups, clean light spillages, and administer simple first aid when necessary (training provided).  The ideal candidate possesses experience supervising children, preferably within a school context. You will be someone who: Experience of working within a school is ideal but not essential. Ability to adhere to working procedures and policies within the school environment. Good oral and written communication skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality. Patient, motivated, flexible and adaptable.
