Filey Academy are
looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant Level 2 to join
our academy in September 2026 on a permanent, part time basis. Do you want to work for a Trust

deprived areas in the North of England? If so, this could be the role for you. Your new role As a Teaching Assistant Level 2, you will work under the
instruction/guidance of teaching/senior staff to undertake work/care/support
programmes to enable access to learning for pupils and assist the teacher in
the management of pupils and the classroom. You may carry out work in the
classroom or outside the main teaching area. Salary: Grade
D Points 6 to 8 (Β£25,989.00 to Β£26,824.00 Full Time Equivalent) subject to pro
rata. The minimum
actual pro rata salary per annum for this job starts at Β£19,721.93 Hours: 32.5
hours per week / Term Time only plus 5 days (39 weeks) Please see the attached job description on our
