Main Purpose: The Class Teacher will: • Fulfil the professional responsibilities of a teacher, as set out in the Teachers’
Professional Standards Document. • Consistently demonstrate high quality, effective teaching practice through the
planning and delivery of the school’s curriculum securing high outcomes for all
pupils. • Lead either a core subject or foundation subject at an operational and strategic
level across the school (this does not apply to an ECT).
