Do you have a passion for continuous provision in Key Stage one? We are looking for a cracking EYFS teacher to join our team in the Federation of Burley and Sopley! This position will be based at Burley Primary, in our mixed age Year R and Year 1 class. Within our setting, we work on a continuous provision model - we do not have tables and chairs for every child and encourage our children to engage in play based learning inside and outside our classroom. We are privilege to have amazing grounds and maintain smaller than average classes. We work closely with our team at Sopely, benefiting from shared PPA sessions to collaborate, share workload and expertise! We hope that the successful candidate will be able to undertake a period of shadowing the current teacher, and also be available to joining us for our INSET days on 22nd and 23rd October, where we will be working alongside Kit Messager (the author of curious not furious) to develop our thinking around empowering all working in our school. We are seeking a teacher who: Has a passion for great early years practice and is confident how these principles will look for children in Year One.
