PE AND SPORTS TECHNICIAN Salary: NJC Scale 2, Point 4 to 5 (£25,185 to ££25,583 per annum FTE). Actual salary £21,600.98 per annum on point 4. Contract: Permanent. 37 hours per week, Monday to Wednesday 08.00 to 16.30 and Thursday and Friday 08.00 to 15.00. Term Time plus 5 training days (39 weeks per year) Start date: As soon as possible Place of work: St Peters School, Huntingdon Place of work: St Peter’s School is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, organised and motivated PE and Sports Technician to support the work of our dedicated and successful Active Health Faculty. The Active Health Faculty is a popular and thriving area of the school, offering a broad range of qualifications alongside an extensive extracurricular programme. This role will provide essential support to ensure the smooth delivery of both curriculum and enrichment activities. The successful candidate will support the effective delivery of the Active Health curriculum by maintaining and preparing equipment, resources and teaching spaces, assisting faculty staff, and helping to ensure a safe, organised and engaging learning environment for students. Extracurricular sport is a key strength of the faculty, and the PE and Sports Technician will play an important role in the administration and organisation of sports fixtures, events and after-school clubs. The role will also involve supporting transport arrangements and other logistical requirements associated with the faculty’s extensive programme of activities. A full driving licence and willingness to undertake minibus driver training would be desirable, although these are not essential requirements.
