Post: One Higher Level Teaching Assistant (FTE) Location: Marlborough Primary School, Morice Square, Devonport, Plymouth, PL1 4NJ FTE Salary Range: NJC Grade E Point15-20 £30,024-£32,597 pro rata Actual £19,858 - £21,560 Contract Type: Permanent Contract Hours: 27.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 39 weeks per year About the role The team at Marlborough Primary Academy are looking to recruit a full time HLTA to work in our EYFS/KS1 setting. The role will involve supporting the class teacher within a mixed YR/Y1 class. A knowledge of teaching Read Write Inc would be an advantage. About the successful candidate The right candidate for the EYFS role will have experience in the early years, and understand the Early Years Framework. We would like to recruit someone who is confident to work independently with groups of pupils, leading sessions in all areas of the curriculum. The right candidate will be happy to work with our parents and communicate with them about their children’s progress.
