Mental Health Therapist/Counsellor Trinity Academy Newcastle - The Sanctuary Mental Health Therapist/Counsellor - 37 hours a week, Monday to Friday, Term time only plus 5 training days, N10 SCP 39 (Β£50,269) to SCP 43 (Β£54,495), pro rata (Β£43,163.67 to Β£46,792.34) We are looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated and inspiring Mental Health Therapist/Counsellor to join our Newcastle School in the Sanctuary. Our successful candidate will have a professional qualification to a first-degree level in a relevant field and experience of working with children and young adults who have experienced extensive early life trauma. You will be expected to Deliver services within a trauma-informed framework, embedding principles of safety, trust, collaboration, empowerment and inclusion. The role will contribute to the development of a trauma informed culture through direct clinical work, consultation, and the design and delivery of high quality CPD for staff, parents and external partners.
