Key Responsibilities As a Class Teacher, you will: Deliver engaging, high-quality lessons aligned with the National Curriculum, ensuring breadth and balance across all subjects Set clear learning objectives, provide appropriate challenge, and maintain high expectations for all pupils Create a positive and disciplined classroom environment that safeguards pupils’ wellbeing Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all abilities and learning styles Promote children’s social, emotional, and cultural development Monitor, assess, and report on pupil progress, using data effectively to inform teaching Manage classroom resources and evaluate their impact on learning Work collaboratively with support staff, including teaching assistants and parent helpers Build strong relationships with parents, communicating regularly about pupils’ academic, social, and emotional progress Liaise with external agencies where appropriate Contribute to wider school life, including staff meetings, CPD, and INSET Lead or support the development of a curriculum area Maintain accurate records, including transition documentation Qualifications & Experience We are looking for someone who has: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - ECTs are warmly encouraged to apply Experience teaching in a primary school setting Strong curriculum and subject knowledge Effective behaviour management skills The ability to adapt and differentiate teaching to meet diverse needs Desirable Qualities The ideal candidate will be: Passionate about primary education and making a meaningful difference An excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills A team player who thrives in a collaborative environment Innovative and proactive in their approach to teaching and learning Committed to continuous professional development and self-improvement Why Join Us?
