Administration Assistant Merrydale Junior School Salary: Grade 6 Pay Point 9-10 ,approximate starting salary of £22,240 (Pending Support Staff Pay Award Salary Uplift) Hours: 37 hours per week and 40 weeks per year ( Term Time of 38 weeks, plus INSET training days & one additional week) Contract Type: Permanent Working Pattern: Monday to Friday 08:30-16:30, with an unpaid lunch break of 30 minutes About the Role We are seeking to appoint a highly organised and motivated Administration Assistant to work within our successful school team to provide confidential, effective, efficient and flexible administrative support to the school and wider community with minimal supervision. Carries out discrete area of work prioritising tasks, deciding on how to perform tasks, using own initiative to get task completed (i.e. resolving non-complex queries, problems). Interrogates databases to produce less routine reports (may involve designing simple spreadsheets), identifying and problems/issues with data produced.
