Assistant & Midday Supervisor to join our outstanding primary school. We
seek an individual who shares our vision of providing a first-class education

Who We Are Looking For:
We are searching for an
exceptional Teaching Assistant & Midday Supervisor who:
Advocate
for every child and actively promote inclusion, respect and equal access
to school life for children from varied social, cultural, linguistic and
religious backgrounds.
Support
classroom learning by adopting strategies that raise achievement and
independence; deliver planned activities and give clear, timely feedback
to teachers.
Provide
targeted support for children with complex learning and pastoral needs,
contributing to individual plans and liaising with the SENDCO and outside
professionals.
Supervise
children during the midday break: ensure welfare, safety and good conduct
on the playground and in the dining area; follow St Annβs behaviour
expectations and routines.
Manage
dining arrangements: encourage healthy eating, model good table manners,
assist with toileting and handwashing, and clean up spillages promptly.
Deliver
pastoral care during lunchtime and across the school day: identify and
report concerns, support emotional wellbeing and help children engage
positively with play.
Administer
basic first aid where trained; record minor incidents and escalate serious
incidents to the qualified first aider or DSL in line with school
procedures.
Promote
positive play: organise inclusive activities, help children share and
resolve disputes, and ensure children tidy away resources.
Work
effectively as part of the classroom and midday team, taking direction
from teachers and senior leaders while able to work independently when
required.
Maintain
professionalism: uphold confidentiality, follow school policies
(safeguarding, data protection, health & safety) and report
safeguarding concerns immediately.
Engage
in professional development via Trust CPD (Northwest Learning Partnership)
and contribute to team meetings and school improvement activities.
