Job Title: Sports Supervisor Actual Annual Salary: Β£28,859 - Β£31,111 (CLF Grade C, Based on hours and working weeks) Contract Type: Permanent Hours: Full-time, 37 hours per week, All Year Round Provisional Start Date: September 2026 Your opportunity to lead a successful sports facility and make a positive impact in your community: Join City Academy Bristol as our Sports Supervisor and play a key role in the day-to-day operation of our sports facilities. Working under the guidance of the Deputy Facilities Manager, you will lead and support a team of Sports Assistants, oversee bookings and events, maintain high standards of health and safety, and ensure that all users receive an excellent customer experience. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of a thriving sports provision that serves both the academy and the wider community. About you: You will have: A good standard of education, including GCSE English and Maths (or equivalent). Previous experience working as a Sports Assistant or in a similar sports or leisure environment. Experience of supervising, motivating and supporting a team to deliver high-quality services. Strong customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders. Good IT skills, including the use of Microsoft Office and booking or administrative systems. The ability to make informed decisions, solve problems and respond calmly in challenging situations. An understanding of health and safety procedures and a commitment to maintaining safe and secure facilities. The ability to work independently, use initiative and manage competing priorities. A full UK driving licence and a willingness to undertake First Aid training if not already qualified.
