Year 2 Class Teacher (Maternity Cover)

We are looking for a teacher who:

Has excellent classroom practice

and high expectations for all pupils

Has a secure understanding of the

KS1 curriculum, assessment and progression

Is confident in teaching early

reading, phonics, writing and mathematics

Creates a calm, purposeful,

inclusive and engaging classroom environment

Uses assessment well to adapt

teaching and support pupils' next steps

Works effectively as part of a

team and has strong communication skills

Builds positive relationships with

children, parents, carers and colleagues

Brings energy, warmth and

professionalism to the role

Is committed to safeguarding and

promoting the welfare of children
