Required from September 2026 Permanent, 32.5 hours per week, Term Time Only plus 2 additional days 8:45am - 3:45pm Monday to Friday with 30 minutes unpaid lunch break each day Salary NJC Grade B3, Scale Points 7-11, £27,274 - £29,070 per annum Actual Salary £20,284 - £21,620 per annum The Governors of this high achieving, oversubscribed school seek to appoint a highly motivated Teaching Assistant to support the education, personal and social development of students with additional needs under the teacher’s clear guidance. As a Teaching Assistant you will work under the guidance of the SENCo to implement agreed work programmes/intervention strategies with individuals or groups of students both in and out of the classroom. This may include assisting the teacher in their planning and management/preparation of resources. Whilst capturing the spirit of our vision and values and whilst role-modelling exceptional professional behaviours, you will: Relate well to young people Collaborate effectively with other adults Have strong organisational skills Be an enthusiastic team player Have the ability to use initiative, work independently and stay organised What are we looking for? The ideal candidate would have: The ability to build a rapport with students and a passion for education and learning The confidence to work one to one with students An interest in the learning needs of children with Special Educational Needs Excellent communication and IT skills The ability to work as part of a team A high standard of education including Maths and English What can we offer you?
