Hodgson Academy is seeking a dedicated and compassionate  Level 2 Teaching Assistant  to join our Learning Support team. This is a rewarding and varied role where you will work alongside teachers and specialist staff to support the academic, personal and social development of students — including those with SEND and additional learning needs. You will help students stay engaged, build confidence and make meaningful progress, playing a vital part in creating an inclusive environment where every young person can flourish. A day in your new role could see you: Supporting individual pupils or small groups with structured learning activities Building positive, trusting relationships that help students grow in confidence Monitoring pupils’ personal, social and emotional needs and feeding back to teachers Contributing to the development and review of individual learning targets Providing support in English, maths and science, with flexibility to work across other subjects Helping create and use learning resources, including ICT tools Supporting behaviour routines to maintain a calm, purposeful classroom Working collaboratively with parents, carers and external agencies Assisting with specific care or medical needs (training provided) Supporting Homework Club and contributing to co‑curricular activities     Closing date:  Monday 13th July 2026 at 9:00am Start Date:  1st September 2026    Apply now!     Our Learning Support department is a warm, resourceful and forward‑thinking team committed to helping students overcome barriers and enjoy their learning experience.
