About the role

The successful applicant will be subject to DBS and health checks. Due to continued growth in student numbers, we wish to appoint an exceptional Teacher of Art and Design to join our Lower Academy. Salary: £35,317 - £54,063 (M1 - AL3 Academy Qualified Teachers Scale) Position Available: September 2026 Our academy operates across two sites. The Lower Academy specialises in the teaching of our Key Stage 3 students, whilst The Upper Academy specialises in teaching Key Stage 4 and 5. The Creative Arts Faculty boasts a team of highly trained, creative, and motivated practitioners who work collaboratively to share and develop each other's specialisms through department CPD. The Lower Academy benefits from two dedicated and well-equipped DT workshops, Art studios, 3D printers, a fully functioning Kiln as well as a laser cutter using TechSoft 2D Design. You will be joining a well-established and collaborative team, which is also supported by a group of skilled technicians.
