Teaching Assistant Level 2 & Higher Level Teaching Assistant - PE Instructor Contract Type: Permanent. Actual Salary: £16,423.57 to £17,073.98 Hours: 15 hours as a Teaching Assistant (D3 to D4) and 12.50 hours as a HLTA (G8 to G12), working 39 weeks per year. These hours are inclusive of an afternoon of PPA time for the sport leader. Starting: 1 September 2026 We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and versatile individual to join our small Church of England primary school in a combined role of Teaching Assistant and PE Instructor. The role will involve supporting teaching and learning in the classroom from 9:00am to 12:00pm, followed by delivering high-quality PE lessons and physical activities from 1:00pm to 3:30pm.
