Wyndham Park Infants School is a mainstream infant school for pupils aged 4-7 years and next door, on the same campus is St Mark's C of E School, a mainstream junior school with pupils between the ages of 7-11. Both schools have a SEND resource base and both schools work in collaboration together. We are a fantastic mainstream school with a developing SEND provision and we are looking to appoint a motivated and creative Class Teacher to join our team on a fixed term contract until 31.08.2027. The attached job description will detail your role in full, but at a glance, some of the key areas you will be responsible for include (but are not limited to): Able to provide examples of good teaching practice; including preparation and planning, classroom management and the maintenance of effective working relationships with pupils and colleagues. To organise the effective deployment and direction of Teaching Assistants To support the School Improvement Plan and contribute to the strategic vision of the Headteacher and Local Governing Committee (LGC) To set and evaluate individual termly targets and to maintain records of achievement for pupils, in consultation with colleagues To provide a stimulating classroom environment, where resources can be accessed appropriately by all pupils We can offer you: Amazing, well-behaved children who have excellent attitudes to life and learning.
