School Business Manager β Level 3 Permanent Hours: 37 hours per week / 52 weeks per year
Monday β Thursday 8 - 4pm Friday - 8 β 3:30pm with a daily 30 minutes unpaid lunch
Pay scale: LG band 10 points 31 β 34, Β£47,181 - Β£50,269 (pay award pending) plus contribution to the Local Government Pension Scheme
Responsible to: Headteacher
Key relationships: Senior Leadership Team, Admin staff, Premises Officers and Trust finance team.

Taylor Road Primary School is seeking to appoint an exceptional School Business Manager to join our dedicated leadership team and play a pivotal role in the continued development of our vibrant and inclusive school community. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and forward-thinking professional to lead and manage the strategic and operational functions of the school, ensuring that our children and staff have the very best environment in which to thrive. The successful candidate will work closely with the Headteacher, senior leaders and the Trust to provide strategic leadership across: β’ Strategic planning and school improvement β’ Human resources and safer recruitment
β’ Estates, facilities and premises management
β’ Health & safety, compliance and risk management
β’ Administration and operational systems
β’ Finance and budget management
β’ GDPR and Data Protection Officer responsibilities
You will be instrumental in ensuring that operational systems support high-quality teaching, learning and safeguarding across the school. We Are Looking for Someone Who: β’ Is highly organised, proactive and solution-focused β’ Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills β’ Understands HR processes, compliance and operational management β’ Has financial and operational management experience
β’ Understands the importance of safeguarding and compliance
β’ Can work strategically whilst managing day-to-day operational priorities

β’ Has the ability to remain calm and effective in a fast-paced environment
β’ Has successful leadership or management experience, ideally in education or a similar complex environment
