Catering Assistant (with an emphasis on baking cakes and biscuits) Hours: 30hpw Grade B, SCP3 - £17,785 Term time only Permanent Required for 1 September 2026 Deadline for applications; Tuesday, 7 July 2026 at 9 am St John's Catholic School & Sixth Form College are looking to appoint a Catering Assistant. This is a great opportunity to join our school’s catering team and help provide nutritious, well-prepared meals to our students and staff. As a Catering Assistant, you will support the preparation of food, with an emphasis on preparing and baking cakes and biscuits which forms a major part of this role . You will also be required to serve our students, staff and visitors, as well as ensuring that our environment is cleaned effectively so that our kitchen runs smoothly and efficiently. We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, reliable, dedicated and enjoys working as part of a team.
