Hours: Before School: 7:15am β 9:00am (8.75 hours per week β term time only) AND/OR After School: 3:15pm β 6:00pm (13.75 hours per week β term time only) Lakenham Primary School is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, motivated, and caring individual to join our thriving wrap around care provision as a Wrap Around Care Leader. This role can be undertaken as a before school leader, an after school leader, or a combined position, depending on the successful candidate(s). Our well-established and popular provision offers high-quality childcare for pupils attending the school, operating from 7:30am to 9:00am and from 3:30pm to 6:00pm. We are proud to provide a safe, engaging, and inclusive environment where children can relax, learn, and have fun for children from Nursery to year 6. Children have access to a wide range of resources and extensive school grounds, and each session includes a variety of activities such as crafts, outdoor play, board games, and free play. The provision is well organised, with established routines, well-behaved children, and support readily available from the Senior Leadership Team either onsite or by phone. This is a rewarding role with significant responsibility. As Wrap Around Care Leader, you will be responsible for leading staff, organising provision, understanding of safeguarding, experience of EYFS (is desirable) and ensuring a safe and effective system of work, which is reflected in the Scale E pay grade. About the Role As Wrap Around Care Leader, you will lead a small team of playworkers to deliver high-quality childcare. You will oversee the day-to-day running of the provision, ensuring high standards of care, health and safety, and an enjoyable experience for all children. The role requires effective organisation, initiative, and confident decision-making, including managing situations independently and informing senior leaders when appropriate. Key Responsibilities You will: Lead and manage a small team of playworkers, including delegating tasks and supporting staff development Plan and organise a programme of safe, creative, and engaging activities for children of different ages Ensure a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment, maintaining appropriate supervision at all times Manage day-to-day administration, including record keeping, bookings, and ordering resources within an agreed budget Work with the finance team to ensure payments are processed and any outstanding balances are followed up Administer first aid when required Liaise effectively with parents, staff, and the Senior Leadership Team M
