Hours: Full Time, 1.0 FTE Contract: Maternity Cover. January 2027 (1 term minimum) We are seeking to appoint a passionate, dedicated and motivated Teacher of Mathematics with excellent subject knowledge, who can combine academic knowledge and achievement with a passion for the subject to boost learning outcomes.

You’ll inspire students to achieve their full potential in the subject, using a passion for language to deliver high quality and engaging, interactive lessons that boost capabilities of students. A focus on learning and assessment and wider curriculum requirements is key, as well as the ability to utilise your knowledge to positively impact progress within the subject.
Required Experience Qualified Teacher Status (this post is suitable for an ECT) or equivalent qualification The ability to teach Mathematics and/or Further Mathematics to GCSE and A-Level Evidence of reflective practice and a willingness to learn and develop A secure ability in IT, and the ability to learn new skills as part of our blended learning approach Required Values A genuine enjoyment of the subject and teaching young people A commitment to a pastoral role as a form tutor A willingness to contribute to extra-curricular activities Scholarship – demonstrating a love of learning, and showing evidence of using research / wider reading to further knowledge and skills as a teacher Service – a commitment to improving opportunities for, and bettering the lives of others in, our community Humility – understanding that none of us is perfect, and that by thinking of others, we can improve ourselves and our sense of worth and belonging
