About this Role Holme Hall Primary School is a warm and friendly place where expectations are high. (HHPSN4), We are seeking to appoint three experienced Teaching Assistants who are able to support the learning of children with SEND. There will also be opportunities to work more generally within the class, supporting small groups and individuals. The successful candidates will be excellent classroom practitioners with experience of working with children with a range of needs and who are dedicated to enabling children to achieve their personal best. They will: Work with individual children, including children with SEND and EHCPs. Be able to work as part of a team Prepare learning materials and adapt teaching support according to childrenʼs needs Look after children's physical, social and emotional welfare-including first aid duties Be creative and innovative Have high expectations of achievement and behaviour Be committed to promoting and upholding the school values and ethos Promote and support the inclusion of all pupils, including those with specific needs. Be motivated and passionate to achieve the very best for the children in our care and make a genuine difference Use initiative to assess and evaluate pupilsʼ needs Lead intervention groups Our school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all our pupils and expects all staff to share this commitment. We are looking for someone with a flexible, positive, outgoing, caring and nurturing approach. The SEND TA roles are advertised as 11 hours per week. Visits to the school are warmly welcomed.
