Wellbeing & Inclusion Officer 1 Full time - 36 hours per week, Term Time Only 1 Part Time - 30 hours per week, Term Time Only We are pleased to announce this exciting opportunity for two Wellbeing & Inclusion Officers to join the pastoral team at Franklin College. These are rewarding and fast paced roles where you can make a genuine difference to students’ lives, wellbeing and future aspirations. The successful candidates will work collaboratively within Team Inclusion to support students who present with moderate to more complex wellbeing and mental health needs. You will provide day-to-day pastoral support through individual, remote and group interventions, helping students to overcome barriers to learning and achieve positive outcomes. A key aspect of the role is promoting early intervention and preventative strategies by building emotional resilience, independence and self-care through signposting, workshops and wellbeing initiatives. You will also contribute to maintaining accurate student records, coordinating wellbeing support and ensuring that appropriate interventions are implemented. The roles extend beyond individual support and include leading and contributing to a range of inclusion initiatives and events that promote equality, diversity and student engagement. You will work closely with the Associate Principal for Inclusion and Wellbeing, Student Services Managers, Progress Coaches, Learning Support, teaching staff and external agencies to support vulnerable students and monitor those at risk. You will act as a key point of contact for students, parents and carers, facilitating effective communication, coordinating support plans and working alongside external professionals, including social workers and virtual schools where appropriate. The posts also include supporting students within vulnerable groups, contributing to transition programmes, developing student voice initiatives and assisting with safeguarding and Prevent concerns. These are excellent opportunities for individuals who are passionate about supporting young people and wish to gain valuable experience within a successful and vibrant sixth form college environment.
