We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Admin and Finance Officer to join our fantastic team at Piper Hill High School This is a Grade 4, permanent post working 35 hours per week, term time only plus 5 INSET days. The starting salary is £22,710 and the full time equivalent is £26,403. We’re looking for: We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Admin & Finance Officer to join our dedicated team and play a key role in supporting the smooth running of our school’s administrative and financial operations. Main purpose of the job: This is a varied and rewarding role where your attention to detail and ability to multitask will make a real impact. Reporting to the School Operations Manager, you will be responsible for: Processing invoices, raising payments, and liaising with suppliers Managing petty cash and banking procedures Supporting financial reporting and ensuring compliance with school financial regulations Providing high-quality administrative support including word processing, diary management, and meeting coordination Maintaining accurate manual and digital records and producing reports Supporting pupil welfare, including first aid and liaising with parents Acting as a first point of contact at reception and handling enquiries professionally Assisting with school events, travel arrangements, and general office duties All school staff are expected to share the Trust’s commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
