About the role

Laurus Cheadle Hulme is a vibrant and inclusive secondary school committed to ensuring every student achieves their full potential. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Learning Support Assistant to join our supportive SEND team. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and the SENDCo to support students with a range of additional learning needs. If you would like to join our Laurus family in a rewarding role that changes the lives of our pupils by empowering them to become the best that they can be then we would love to hear from you.  This position is contracted on a 32.5 hours per week Term Time Only basis . This means you will mainly work when the school is open to pupils and will not need to work during the school holidays unless the contract requires you to do so. Job Purpose   Support identified students within the classroom environment, within small group situations.

Work with teachers to enhance student progress, whilst also promoting their independence, self-esteem and social inclusion.
