Deputy Attendance Officer Allestree Woodlands School Grade and Salary: Grade 4: Β£24,490 - Β£26,566 per annum (Β£28,598 - Β£31,022 FTE) Working pattern: 37 hours per week, 39 weeks per year (term time only) Contract term: Permanent The School: Allestree Woodlands School offers a broad curriculum at all key stages and has a thriving Sixth Form. The role: We are looking to appoint a motivated Deputy Attendance Officer to join the team at Allestree Woodlands School. The role consists of working closely with the Pastoral Team and be responsible for a caseload of attendance and punctuality interventions. You will identify students of concern for an ongoing caseload, organising support, carrying out monitoring and mentoring sessions with individual students and contacting families, including home visits as required. You will also be required to complete general administration duties. The person: The successful candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, be able to maintain high standards, and have the ability to proactively engage with young people and their families. You will have experience in working with young people in different settings, and experience updating and maintaining accurate records and systems.
