Seven Hills School Β· Sheffield, Yorkshire and the Humber
Seven
Hills School is a secondary special school for young people aged 11β19 with a
range of complex needs including severe learning difficulties, autism, physical
disabilities and communication difficulties. We are committed to providing
outstanding opportunities for every student to thrive, achieve their
aspirations and become active contributors to their communities. At Seven Hills School, our values of Kindness, Independence, Integrity,
Collaboration and Ambition underpin everything we do. These values shape not
only our work with students, but also how we work with each other, with
families and with external partners. We are seeking to appoint an exceptional Student Support / Pastoral
Co-ordinator to join our team.
The school operates over three
sites, Granville Road (S2) The Bridge, which is a site on the Talbot/Newfield
campus (S8) and Peaks College, Waterthorpe Greenway (S20).
Based initially at our Granville
Road site, this is a key role within the school, ensuring that high
expectations, positive relationships and effective routines are maintained to
support pupils' wellbeing, engagement and success. Whilst the postholder will be based at Granville Road in the first instance,
they may be required to work at any Seven Hills School campus to meet the needs
of the school. At Granville Road, the role is predominantly pastoral,
supporting wellbeing, attendance, safeguarding and personal development. When
working across other sites, the role will encompass a broader combination of
pastoral and student support responsibilities. As a valued member of the Safeguarding Team, the successful candidate will play
an important role in promoting the welfare, safety and wellbeing of pupils and
will undertake the role of Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead.
