We are seeking an enthusiastic, proactive and highly skilled Academy IT Lead to join our Trust-wide IT Services Team. About the Role As Academy IT Lead, you will be the primary IT professional on site, leading the day-to-day management of IT services at Ellesmere Park High School while working closely with the wider Consilium Academies IT Team. You will play a vital role in ensuring that staff and students have access to reliable, secure and effective technology that supports teaching, learning and school operations. From maintaining infrastructure and troubleshooting technical issues to managing projects and supporting cyber security, this is a varied and rewarding role for an experienced IT professional who enjoys both technical and customer-facing responsibilities. You will also work closely with senior leaders and key stakeholders, building positive relationships and acting as the local representative of the Trust's IT Service Team. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage all on-site IT operations and support services. Maintain and troubleshoot hardware, software, networks and infrastructure. Support Windows environments, Microsoft 365, cloud technologies and educational systems. Manage and resolve helpdesk requests, ensuring excellent customer service and SLA performance. Implement Trust-wide IT policies, procedures and cyber security standards. Support telephony, AV systems, printers, classroom technology and specialist systems. Liaise with suppliers, contractors and Trust colleagues to deliver effective IT solutions. Maintain accurate asset registers, documentation and system records. Deliver training and guidance to staff where required. Lead local IT projects and contribute to Trust-wide initiatives. About You We are looking for someone who: Has experience supporting a wide range of ICT systems, devices and software. Has strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Has experience with Microsoft technologies including Windows, Microsoft 365 and server environments. Can build positive working relationships with staff at all levels. Is organised, proactive and able to manage competing priorities effectively. Has excellent communication and customer service skills. Can
