The successful candidate will supervise whole classes during the short-term absence of teaching staff, ensuring students remain engaged in their learning and work in a safe, positive and productive environment. You will deliver pre-prepared lessons, manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies, and support students in achieving high standards of conduct and achievement. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience of working with young people, considering a future career in teaching, or looking to make a positive contribution to the life of a thriving school community. Strong communication skills, resilience and the ability to build positive relationships with students and staff are essential.
