Teaching Assistant Level 3

St Vincent De Paul are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, highly motivated and skilled Teaching Assistant Level 3 to provide cover across EYFS, KS1 and KS2. This is an exciting opportunity to join the Trust at the beginning of a journey of transition, development, and growth within the multi-academy trust.

We are seeking an individual who can:

Promote and support the Catholic ethos of the school

Provide class cover under the direction of the lead TA

Promote the inclusion and acceptance of all pupils within the classroom

Support pupils consistently whilst recognising and responding to their individual needs

Promote independence and employ strategies to develop self-reliance

Provide feedback to pupils in relation to progress and achievement

Be able to use your initiative while following the overall direction of the class and school policies

Work with teachers to establish an appropriate learning environment including support with lesson planning, evaluating and adjusting lessons/work plans as appropriate

Monitor & evaluate pupils’ responses to learning against pre-determined learning objectives

Provide objective & accurate feedback & reports to the teacher on pupil achievement

Work well as part of a team
