About the role As Wraparound Care Manager, you will be the warm, familiar face that greets our children and families at the very start and end of every school day β the person who sets the tone for how children arrive in the morning and leave in the afternoon. You will be friendly, enthusiastic and brilliant at building relationships with pupils, parents, staff and visitors alike. Your care will create a safe, welcoming environment where children feel happy, settled and ready to learn β and where families feel confident that their children are in good hands. The role runs across two sessions each day: Morning session: 7.15am - 9.00am Afternoon/evening session: 3.00pm - 6.00pm Monday to Friday, term time You will manage the day-to-day running of our wraparound provision, ensuring it operates smoothly, safely and in a way that reflects the values and ethos of our school. This includes supervising and engaging children in purposeful, enjoyable activities, maintaining registers and safeguarding records, liaising with parents and school staff, and taking responsibility for the safety and wellbeing of every child in your care. We are looking for someone who: Is warm, patient and genuinely enjoys working with primary-aged children Can build strong, trusting relationships with children and families Is organised and reliable, with a calm and positive approach Has experience of working with or caring for children (paid or voluntary) Understands and is committed to safeguarding and child welfare Can work independently and use their initiative Shares our Christian ethos and values β you don't need to be of faith, but you should be respectful and supportive of our school's character Why join us?
