SEND Specialist Teaching Assistant 

We welcome applications from excellent practitioners who have:  An NVQ3 for Teaching Assistants or equivalent qualification or experience  Excellent classroom practice and are able to lead a room and adapt provision to meet need.  Experience and expertise in supporting pupils with Speech, Language and Communication Needs and those with a diagnosis of autism.  Experience in delivering bespoke, nurturing curricula for pupils who may be working below age-related expectation and require personalised learning pathways.  The ability to support and develop communication-friendly and emotionally supportive environments.  The ability to adapt provision for pupils with SEND and EAL, ensuring inclusive and high-quality learning experiences.  The ability to share learning with others, helping colleagues to develop their skills and understanding The ability to provide nurturing environments for all pupils, with experience of working with pupils with SEMH needs.
