Learning Support Assistant
Start date: 1st September 2026
Contract: Part-time, 37 hours per week, 38 weeks per year, fixed term to 31 August 2027 (linked to a named pupil)
Salary: NJC Scale 2, SP 3-4 (FTE £24,795 - £25,185 / Actual £20,732 - £21,058 per annum)
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and hardworking Learning Support Assistant. You will be required to:
Support a student on an EHCP.
Lead small group intervention as directed by the SENCO.
Work on a one to one basis with students.
Provide personal and medical care and support for individual students (full training will be provided)
Therefore, we are looking for someone who:
Can work independently but contribute to a strong team ethos
Is willing to work flexibly
Has excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Is able to solve problems and be proactive
