Teaching Assistant, Permanent Term time only plus 2 mandatory INSET days in September 8.30am-3pm Monday to Friday, 29.20 hours per week Ringwood is a large, dynamic, and inclusive mainstream secondary school committed to providing a high-quality learning environment for all students. We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our SEN team and make a real difference in the lives of our students. The Role: As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and the SEN team to support students in and out of the classroom, helping to remove barriers to learning and fostering a positive, inclusive environment. Your responsibilities will include: Supporting students with their learning, including those with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and English as an Additional Language (EAL) Assisting in classroom activities, small group interventions, and one-to-one support Encouraging and promoting independent learning and student confidence Providing pastoral care and supporting students’ social and emotional well-being What we’re looking for: We welcome applicants from all backgrounds, whether you are an experienced Teaching Assistant, a recent graduate, or someone looking for a rewarding career change.
